I am planning a trip to Eden Valley, the Blue Forest in Wyoming. Hoping to go on a Saturday in August. Does anyone have any recent information on the status of the collecting sites there? I've read a lot about how great the collecting is, but most of what I read is at least three years old. I will be making some phone calls this week to try to contact local folks and find out details before I make the 4 hour drive. Can't wait to go, that wood looks beautiful. If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know. I am thinking about trying to tackle it in one day--leave super early in the morning (3 or 4) to get there about sunrise so I have the whole day to hound.
