What type of saws do you use? How much do they generally cost? I have a small 7" diamond saw now, but want to be able to cut larger stones. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me some tips on cutting slabs.

How thick should I cut slabs if Im going to make cabs and pendants?

Should I use water and drain it each day or is there a good oil I should use?

If I use oil will it be hard to clean it off the slabs?

Had a chance to get out this week for a while collecting, got a few pounds of some excellent agate! Thought I would take a couple of pics and see whatcha think! On the last photo I took an upclose pic of some type of crystal that is a pseudomorph replaced with agate. It is sticking out perpendicular to the long tube in the photo. QUESTION: Is this most likely a psuedomorph after calcite or is it some other type of mineral? Any replies will be appreciated!
